Wow. Are there any reasons one can't get an annulment? I think they covered every possible reason for a relationship ending... Frankly, it sounds like annulment is simply the Catholic word for divorce, and just as easily accessible. I never knew that.
Pretty much. There are a number of Catholics who say exactly the same thing, and are up in arms about it as a defilement of the faith. The USA has 6% of the world's Catholics, and 75% of the world's annulments.
There was a billboard up in Toronto a while ago basically accusing the Catholic Bishops of being responsible for murder, because they discourage using any kind of birth control/std protection. The billboard was paid for by a "concerned catholics" group or similar; they referred to "our" bishops.
"You or your spouse married because of an external physical or moral force which you could not resist."

Oh! Ok! Yes, I remember you now. But even saying "Jenn from ACN" wasn't quite enough, as I was thinking of the other one (whom I know fairly well, from several Black Roads as well as ACN and ACUS).
