Displaced persons
Sep. 6th, 2005 11:12 amDoes anyone know what the refugee placement services are doing for
non-traditional families? Are they keeping people together that want to
be together or are they insisting on legal marriage as a criterion for
placement?
I started wondering whether poly families or gay or lesbian couples are
getting equal treatment with heterosexual married couples. Seems like
the Red Cross would be above such behavior, but I wouldn't put it past
this administration to separate people if they don't have a marriage
license...
