I spent several minutes studying the guppy tank
this morning. It looks like over 80% of the 30 or 40 guppies we now have
are female. I could only find three or four fish that were definitively
male, and one of them is the original psychoguppy. We did get a really
pretty silvery male with an orange and black speckled tail in the first
batch of babies, and a number of females that look very much like their
mother: pale with a black and yellow speckled tail. Some of the very
smallest batch of fry already have black coloration in their tails.
