So I went to see NurseKnockYouUp yesterday. She says basically that
since we're manipulating my cycle, we have to expect it to be
manipulated. She thinks this is the right dosage, and we'll get a baby
eventually. So I have a new scrip for 100mg Clomid and I'm to start
taking it tomorrow, as if this had been a normal cycle. *fingers
crossed*
Last night I took the scooter out on a twenty-minute tour of the
neighborhood. Turning right at a busy intersection is scary! I haven't
quite figured out how to make a tight right turn yet, and I sorta missed
my intended lane. Think I need to go to an empty parking lot and work on
that. Somewhere there aren't hundreds of whizzing cars. Left turns
aren't as hard; there's more room to maneuver.
In other news,
lavendargrrl and I are officially insane. We
got up at 6:15 this morning and rode our bikes around Willmore Park. Saw
the night herons again, by daylight this time, as well as a great blue.
My bike needs servicing badly; I tried to slow down to avoid scaring a
night heron and ended up frighting it. The rear brake squeals hideously.
It's been several years since I've ridden consistently, and longer than
that since it's been serviced at all. It's going to need all its cables
replaced (they're rusty), the derailleurs (love that word) removed and
cleaned, and I don't know what-all else. Cheaper than a new bike,
though.
Saturday morning when we got up to ride, it was warm and sticky-humid.
Today it was chilly and humid. St. Louis summer. It ain't always hot,
but the humidity will never fail you.

Date: 2006-08-25 04:57 am (UTC)We'll scream and freak and flip out, and then eventually deal with it. But Diane claims that Clomid does not produce multiple births the way some of the other drugs do. We choose to believe her, because the other way lies madness. *fingers crossed*
